Hi! I'm Jennifer Rose, owner of Shades of Rose Photography, LLC. I am an outdoor portrait photographer who travels between Austin, TX & Nashville, TN. I specialize in headshots, branding photos, maternity & senior sessions.
My goal is to work with you from Day 1 to learn about you and what you are envisioning. They say a picture says 1,000 words, and I think we should tell them together! I want to be your biggest supporter and cheerleader. Whether you are just starting your small business, already enjoying success & now upgrading your website, at the onset of motherhood, or a graduating senior, you are at an important milestone that deserves to be celebrated! These photos will tell the story of your brand, your journey, and most importantly - YOU!

When you book with Shades of Rose Photography, you are booking an entire experience, not just an end result!
From the moment you decide to hit "submit" on that inquiry form....
I am genuinely excited to learn more about you and see how we can capture what you have in mind. I don't just show up & take photos, I take the time to learn about everything you are envisioning to ensure that I cater the session completely to your needs. I encourage you to set up a complimentary zoom call before booking to make sure I am the right fit for you! This call is also great if you'd like to customize any of the packages offered. Everything is fully customizable, and I am happy to build on or to take away from any package to suit your needs.
You will receive two complimentary guides on how to prepare for your session & how to coordinate your outfits (if applicable). I will then be with you every step of the way for any questions you have. I answer all emails, texts, calls, and social media messages within 1 business day, and that's my promise to you! You can even text me some outfit photos if you just can't decide between them and need a gal pal's opinion!
On the day of your session....
You can expect a photographer who will show up with all of the essentials, just in case! I bring an "emergency" kit to all of my sessions with items such as bug spray, wipes, tissues, band-aids, safety pins, a tide stick, bobby pins, and more! You can use these items at any time - what's mine is yours! You don't have to stress at all.
At the end of your session....
Everyone is offered some well-deserved water & treats (adults too!)
After your session....
I'll send a sneak peek a few days after your session and then your gallery within 2 weeks. All gallery photos include basic editing (exposure, highlights, shadows, contrast, color, and toning), and you can request retouching on your final selections (teeth whitening, blemish removal, bruise removal, skin softening, or cropping) for no additional cost.
*Premium editing is also available for an additional fee.

I am a true to life photographer
What is a true to life photographer?
True to life just means that I do not typically add filters or photoshop my images. I focus on telling your real story, whatever it may be! I photograph in real color and aim for bright & true to color images. I will photoshop your images by request, and I do have a team of editors who can make any changes you can dream of to your photo (for a small fee), but truth be told, it is just not my style! I want your entire experience from beginning to end to feel authentic and true to life.
